  • Durring SLCC Comic Con 2017 Lee interviewed John Goodwin from Galaxy Press. He talks with us about the international competition that they run called “Writers of the Future”. This competition is run every year for inspiring authors to get their work out with the added bonus of selling under the prestige of a New York Times best seller. If you are an Author looking for that lucky break or an illustrator looking for that perfect way to get your art recognized then this is the perfect competition for you to enter. Submissions to this competition are anonymous so there are no risks of being discriminated against. This competition is based off of merit alone so if you have the skills you’ll have the best shot at winning the competition that you can get.   There are no entry fees for you to enter this competition so get started on that short story and or art work cause there’s no reason not to enter. In the past even finalists in this competition get national if not global recognition for their work. As a hail marry to fame or resume builder you have nothing to loose by throwing your hat in the ring. Below we have the links to the website for people to enter their work into the writers competition and the illustrator competition. Best of luck to all the authors and illustrators out there and Geek Out!!
