Also known as Gankutsuou, this classic tale has been given a new look in the adaptation via its unique and beautiful art. We discuss its reminiscence to other classic adaptations, and take a look at its soundtrack, by Jean-Jaques Burnel, which blends anime and Western classical motifs.
